Penelope Joysticks and NGUI

Hi guys,

I'm using the Penelope joysticks in unity I have dual sticks, left one to move and right one to jump.

I have them set up so it works perfect on every resolution I change it too however my next step is getting these joysticks to move my character again. I set them up as a button in Unity through the widget wizard tool, I'm not sure if I should be using a different template for them instead of button?

Has anybody done what I am trying to achieve?
