Bug PC freezes when resizing editor game windows

    When my game is running in editor and I resize the scene view or any adjacent panel very often Unity editor 2019.4.16f1 will either completely lock up or my PC hard stops.

    This happens randomly and I am afraid to adjust unity editor windows in any way as the result very often crashes my entire PC.

    This happens on my 1080 Win10 tower and my 2080 Win10 tower.

    Can someone please suggest a remedy? Unity editor is now very unstable, even after fresh install, and on multiple projects, and on multiple PCs - I can't imagine it's anything I am doing. However maybe I need a windows update??

    Why would Unity editor 2019.4.16f1 be crashing my PC so often?
