PBR Mushroom Pack

Hi everyone!

We've released our 7th 3D asset package, Mushrooms! With PBR textures and LOD.
At the moment the package contain 12 different types of mushrooms with different variations, singles, clusters and plucked clusters and 3 LODs on everything. The textures are arrange in an atlas, and comes in 1k, 2k and 4k resolution.

An update for our mushroom package is now live!

We've added 8 new mushroom types, with different variations on each.

The package now contains 234 ready to use prefabs!

 

Grrr pity you didn't mention you would double the price! The free sample pack is great anyhow, hopefully I'll get the full pack in the future.

 

We're sorry that this came as a surprise, in the future we'll try to announce any price increases on updates beforehand.

 

Hi, I've been comparing some fungus packages on the store, and I'm leaning towards your package. However, it seems to be missing fungi without the stalks. Are there any plans to add this to the package? Here is an example of what I mean.

Also, are there any plans to upgrade your fruit pack to the same quality as the mushrooms? They seem to be very low poly and not suitable for FPS game, however the selection is very good.

Hi, thank you for considering our package. We actually talked about adding such fungi a few weeks ago, as we also think that it needs to be in the package, though we didn't know if there was any interest in it. But as you are bringing it up we'll bump it up on our priority list and bring it in an update asap! I can't give you a date, but the modeler for the package has been notified and is keen on getting it done.
How many different types would you consider sufficient? And are there specific types you'd like? Also anything else you'd like to see in this package?

On this update however we don't intend to increase the price.

This is also something we've been talking about for quite a while, but we've been focusing on increasing the number of packages on the store. That said, this is in our summer plans(because who needs vacations? :*P ) with hopes on getting it out mid/late summer. This will be a pretty big upgrade, all models will be remade, with LOD and new PBR textures(Albedo, specular smoothness/ normal/ AO). All the old stuff will still be there but will be moved to a folder designated "Mobile version".

On this package however, we will increase the price because of all the added work. We haven't set a price yet however.

So if you've got some feedback, ideas or something you'd like us to add while we are working on the fruit package you should go over to the forum thread for the fruit package and post it there so we can keep it organized and try to get it in

Thanks a lot for the detailed and swift reply! As for the quantity or specific types I really don't mind, sure the designer will do a great job. Hopefully I'll get this pack towards the end of this month. Thanks again.

Hi Adventure Forge. I've just bought your pack and downloading now, looking forward to using them
Just to confirm, the pack includes the two mushrooms from the free pack or not? Or should they be downloaded as well?
Also, I just have one small request. The red/orange coloured fungi from the following screenshots, like it is in the photos (without a stalk).

 

The ones from the free sample package are also in the paid version, though the paid version has higher resolution texture and 3 LODs.

We've just uploaded the update to unity, hopefully it'll be available some time next week, but we will add your request to our list of future updates
