Particlesystem wont play in editor

    Hi there!

    I have the odd issue, that no particlesystem is playing in the editor anymore. They play in runtime, but not in the editor. I startet unity new, created particlesystems from scratch, checked all parameters... they just wont play (in scene-window, the "Play" button in the Particle Effect popup is grayed out).

    Did I hit a certain button accidently that turned it off!? Yesterday everything was just fine...

    What version of Unity are you using?

    Well, it says up to date with version 2019.1.7f1...

    After Update to 2019.3.2f1, everything is messed up!

    Suddenly, I had blank errors currupting my project; tried to reimport all, restart, reset imported packages to default, every solution I could find. Now, after set the project back to the old version (only solution that was left), all UI scripts are missing, nothing works anymore... multiple hours of work simply gone.

    I will never update this f:mad:k again!
