When I create a new particle system in HDRP the default parties look like square planes, how do I make them look like the standard default particles?

You need to use a HDRP compatible particle shader...

So when I right click -> create new Particle system in my hierarchy that’s absolutely worthless? So that means Unity doesn’t have a particle system that works for HDRP by default?

What about the default HDRP compatible particle shader, how do I access that?

Right I've got the HDRP package in my project thats what I'm using. Now I want to add a particle system in the scene. When I add the particles system the particles are just white squares.

And now you have to assign the particle HDRP material of the examples package to the particle system you've created.
