    Hi Guys,

i want to make a fire like out of a window of a burning house. My Problem is, that if i set the start rotation and rotation over lifetime, it works for 1 view. If I move now in the scene to the otherside of the fire, the rotation turns with my view. So all the flames are now turned around.

I was searching now long time, but I cant find something useful.

Thx a lot for your help !

EDIT: I'm trying at the moment to read the rotation values in the update script of the gameobject. I'm more trying than knowing what to do. I read the rotation of the particle system, the particles themselve, ... But i cant find anything causing the above described rotation with the camera.

Do you have an idea, where the rotation is caused ? Is it because of the billboard or the particle system - is there a difference if i take the mesh/ellipsoid emitter, particle animator and particle renderer together ?

    Thx

Don't know if you have any script interferences or not. May want to check that.
If not it sounds like the particles are a child object of something else moving in the scene.
I had some funky things happen on some particles before. There pretty simple to set up unless super elaborate. Your fire is nice looking, but not elaborate. If you can't find it I'd suggest jotting down the settings, deleting and remaking them. It's not a terrible trouble shooting process.

Update when you find the culprit.
