Particle ProFX one - stunning particle prefabs

    Hello,

    Particle ProFX one is finally available at the asset store: Asset Store
    Hope you like it! :)

    Particle ProFX one is a Unity package with high quality particle prefabs.

    This package includes:
    - 54 Prefabs (version 1.2)
    - Six chain reaction prefabs
    - Four custom flares
    - High quality sprite sheet textures
    - Library tool, for quickly previewing each prefab (you can add your own prefabs to the lib too!)

    Scripts included:
    - Scale script: easily scale particles
    - Chain reaction script: create stunning chain reactions
    - Physic force script: add physical force to your explosions
    - Meteor script: create awesome meteor effects (also cool for railguns)

    WEBDEMO

    Note:
    The preview in the library window is only available for Unity Pro users.
    But it is still possible to click through each prefab in the library and preview them directly in the scene view.

    I have reduced the price of Particle ProFX one to 30$.
    What kind of FX would you like to see in this package? If you are missing any effects just tell me! :)

    new update 1.1 is out on the asset store! -> Link

    whats new:
    - added 11 new prefabs (2 new ray effects + 9 new explosions)
    - added 4 new texturesheets
    - added simple random position script -> makes cool rocket animation in combination with the meteor script
    - updated demoscene

    hi
    how does this perform on mobile?

    i just bought another effects pack that has 2 sets (within the one package) one for desktop one for mobile. Is this something you could do?

    hello,

    particles are not optimized for mobile yet. I have tested the demo scene on my nexus 5 it performed good.
    Although i will consider a mobile friendly set in one of the next updates.

    Hello,

    well i'm sure there are more people who would like to have a mobile friendly version.
    So yes, i will be doing it. Although i can not tell you by now when it will be ready.
    Besides of reducing texture size, reducing emitting particles and changing shaders what would you like to have in the mobile friendly set?

    Thanks! just bought it now. As for the mobile set, i think you have everything covered there.

    The chain reaction effects and the ray effects are very nice, so more of those would be cool!

    Hello, your FX tool looks awesome. Question for you - is this a custom emitter system, or does this simply reference Unity's native Shuriken particle emitters? Thanks!

    @mrwogs thank you. It uses Unity's native Shuriken particle emitter with custom texture sheets and scripts.

    @ShilohGames Thanks for your message, but ParticleProFX does not use the legacy particle system. It's based on the Shuriken particle system, which won't get deprecated.
    Do you encounter any issues with the latest unity version? I have tested it with the Unity 5.5 beta and didn't had any issues with it.

    What I was posting about are the warning messages. Create an empty project in Unity 5.4 and then import ParticleProFX. Then look at all of the warning messages in Unity's Console tab.

    For example, here are a few of the warnings:
    Assets/ParticleProFX/Resources/Scripts/PPFXScale.cs(101,17): warning CS0618: `UnityEngine.ParticleAnimator' is obsolete: `This component is part of the legacy particle system, which is deprecated and will be removed in a future release. Use the ParticleSystem component instead.'

    Assets/ParticleProFX/Resources/Scripts/PPFXScale.cs(103,26): warning CS0618: `UnityEngine.ParticleEmitter' is obsolete: `This component is part of the legacy particle system, which is deprecated and will be removed in a future release. Use the ParticleSystem component instead.'

    Assets/ParticleProFX/Resources/Scripts/PPFXMeteor.cs(48,33): warning CS0618: `UnityEngine.ParticleSystem.emissionRate' is obsolete: `emissionRate property is deprecated. Use emission.rate instead.'
