Particle ID mapping / custom particle collision data

    Referring to an older discussion here: https://forum.unity.com/threads/parameters-for-particle-projectiles.466541/#post-3050619
    The idea is to identify a particle that collided with something, which would make it possible to for example save weapon buffs at the time of firing a projectile and fetch them at the time of a collision.

    Is anything like this possible yet in 2018.1? I checked the scripting reference, but couldn't find anything directly related. Lots of new stuff though, so maybe there's something I've missed.
