Part-time AR / VR Instructors needed!

Circuit Stream is the industry leader in AR/VR education. Our mission is to help expand the AR/VR creator space. We do this by building world-class educational services that focus on making it easier for people and organizations around the world to learn the skills needed to leverage the power of AR/VR technology. Our students currently work with some of the world's leading companies in immersive technology from startup to enterprise-level, including Meta, Unity, Accenture, and more.

We're looking for people with passion, grit and integrity to join us and help empower a new generation of AR/VR developers. The ideal Instructors will have flexible hours, be able to work part-time with availability for teaching slots between 9am - 9pm PST, and comfort working as a contractor. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for part-time afternoon/evening hours, teaching what they love. The role will start off with 1:1 teaching/tutoring sessions. Over time our Instructors will be assigned to teach 10-week group courses.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students in project-based 1:1 sessions
• Teaching augmented and virtual reality courses, training and workshops
• Developing AR/VR content used for teaching and learning
• Contributing ideas for curriculum improvement
• Experimenting with and distilling the technologies at the bleeding edge of AR/VR into logical teachable segment

Requirements

• Extensive AR or VR development experience
• 5+ years developing 3D applications in Unity or Unreal
• Expertise in C#
• Ease communicating complex concepts
• Proficient in English
• A positive and collaborative attitude
• Unity Instructor Certification preferred, Unity Professional Certification desired
