[Paid] Senior developer: ~£40k Brighton, UK

Note: You do NOT need to be familiar with game technologies to apply if you have experience in other areas such as web, mobile or blockchain, etc. However you will be expected to learn game technologies.

Sophie's Tech (https://sophiestech.com/) is a small, creative tech company that largely focuses on projects using cutting edge solutions such as AR/VR and blockchain. Unity is our bread and butter though we are always looking to increase our developer skill set offerings to clients. We pride ourselves on learning fast and experimenting with new techs to be the first on the scene.

The role
We need someone who loves to teach and see their team mates thrive. You will love learning new tech and programming standards so you can help disseminate the knowledge to your team mates and advise on best approaches to new and existing projects.You will not be expected to project manage (unless you desire), so you can instead focus on programming and applying your theory in practice.

Daily tasks:

1. Mentoring (not necessarily managing) junior developers
   
2. Making design and architecture decisions
3. Programming

Requirements:

• 5+ years commercial experience
• Enthusiasm for mentoring
• Understanding of design and architecture
• Available for on location work 2 days a week (Brighton, UK)
