paid asset store purchases not showing up / no longer showing up

I just had the same problem with a purchase I made in the assets store and I have the paypal receipts. In fact 3 items I purchased including the one I just paid for aren't showing up in the download manager in Unity. But they are showing in the web browser. Either way, how do I fix this?

This won't help with your current problem, but I avoid this now by buying from the asset store from within the Unity editor rather than from a web browser. Never had a problem again once I started doing that.

 

I have purchased asset from Unity asset store and it gives an option to "Open in Unity". When i click " Open in Unity", it throws an error "Please move the project folder somewhere readable and writable". I am new to Unity. I could not understand which folder i supposed to move as i did not create any folder. Can someone help?

 

Could you try running Unity as administrator?

 

So.. I am having this issue now and literally about 10,000 dollars or more of assets are missing. How to fix? also it asks me to repurchase.

 

Hey, I ran this by the AS dev team and they could see all of your packages. Hopefully this was just temporary and you now have access to all of them? Let me know.

 

OMG this needs to get fixed as soon as possible. I just bought $200 worth of stuff and it doesn't show up in the assets I own. If i go to the individual asset and download it then it will show up.
I buy stuff all the time with not using it way in the future. I won't know what I own if this doesn't get fixed.

 

Hello, i accidentally trashed permanently my purchased asset from download manager. I can import asset from the web browser then click "Open in unity" button. But its not show on download manager list.
How to show back asset to download manager? Please help me

 

Hello, Can somone from unity support take a look at TICKET #494717 .

last Friday I have bought some assets on new assetstore (sum:158.57€), I have payed it with paypal, now I cannot see assets as downloadable and I cannot see this order in my order list.
Paypal is showing me that I have payed it fully. So it has to be some bug in new asset store.
I have bought alot of assets on old page and never had any issues until now when I have tryed to buy them on new assetstore page.

I got response by some John Doe and I think he have no clue what he is doing, as all his answers does not reflect the problem that I'm refering to.

so please can someone from UNITY help me with this problem to solve it ASAP.

 

I know it's pretty lame, but....... Are you guys absolutely sure to be logged - both on the Asset Store as in Unity Editor - with the same account you used to buy the Assets?

 

Even in 2020, this bug exists. Many of my recently purchased assets aren't listed under "My Assets".

 

I am also facing this issue today.

 

I haven't seen this bug in a few years now.

 

Seems not only me got this terrible bug.

 

I have the same issues with the Asset Store. I can't even launch the Store from within Unity. How could a program that has been around for all these years, still be so unstable?
I might just go back to Unreal engine...
