Package Manager Won't Download Assets in 2020.2

Has anyone else had the problem where the package manager won't download your assets when using Unity 2020.2. It starts to download really slowly but then always stops after about 1%.

I use Windows 10 and have tried disabling my firewall as well as my AV but it doesn't help.

2019.4 and 2020.1 both work fine and in fact the only way I can install an asset from the asset store is to download it in 2019.4 and then install it when using 2020.2.

 

Yes until I read your post I have tried downloading my assets for a couple of days, also disabling firewall etc. - it would seem the package manager doesn't work as intended, but after I downloaded 2019.4 which allowed me to download directly from the store, problem's gone.

Looks like the problem may have been solved with 2020.2.4f1.

 

Unfortunately I spoke too soon. 2020.2.4 only works sometimes and now 2020.2.6 is back to not working at all. I wish they would fix it.
