I can not download the asset packages due to this error [Package Manager Window] Error: Receiving data failed with unitytls error code 7. I also submit the bug report to the Unity Support team but hear nothing from them for a very long time. Does anyone here know how to fix this one? I tried many ways include delete the roaming data or even use VPN, but all of them didn't help.

Do you have the bug report ID that you submitted? I can flag this up internally.

I'm having the same problems with any asset of considerable size - so I just can't access the content I've paid for. @seahorsevn what was the problem for you if you don't mind sharing?

@andreyefimov2010 Here's the response from support team:
It seems like you've encountered a connection error. Unfortunately, there could be a lot of factors influencing this issue. I have compiled a list below of known solutions to your issue:
    - Whitelisting Unity and Unity Hub in your system's Anti-Virus settings
    - Allowing Unity and Unity Hub through the network proxy settings
    - Whitelisting Unity and Unity Hub in your firewall's settings
    - Disabling any VPN or other IP-altering services when you're using Unity

    - I don't have any anti-virus installed besides built-in anti-virus for Windows 10 Windows Defender and it was turned off at the time I was testing it
    - I don't have a proxy
    - firewall was turned off during the testing
    - I don't have a VPN

What I did notice though is that I don't encounter any errors when I'm downloading assets of any size on my notebook which is connected to the same network and the only thing I can think of that is different between notebook and my PC is that PC is connected to Wi-Fi via a USB dongle, but the thing is, I don't have any problems with other apps that also download stuff, like youtube, torrents or assets store from Unreal. So it seems like your setup is very sensitive to the network conditions when compared to other apps.

If you've tried everything, then I'd suggest making a bug report

I have the exact same issue, exclusively on my desktop PC connected via a USB Dongle. Might be a coincidence, but I can't imagine that it is given we both have the exact same circumstances and exact same results.

So yeah, it's been a while since the OP, but this is definitely still an issue. Why Unity doesn't simply provide an option to automatically retry/reconnect when the connection is poor/lost is beyond my comprehension, but whatever I guess.

For a company that has done pretty much everything else beautifully, it's amazing to me how many technical issues there are with Unity Hub, assets, configuration, etc.

PS: In case it isn't clear, until I find a way around this, Unity is completely unusable. So yeah, not a minor issue.

    Hi @AquatikChicken,

I'm sorry you're running into this problem. I see we have been tracking this issue but closed it as it couldn't be reproduced on newer Editor versions, I think (I'll reach out internally to get more details). Could I please ask you what Unity version you are using? And the action(s) that fail this way for you?

I think in the end it was caused by my machine being connected via a Wifi USB adapter (like this: https://www.netgear.com/home/wifi/adapters/a6150/). Once I've changed my setup and got connected by a cable I stopped having this issue.
On the other hand I still think this should be resolved for the cases with bad internet connection or for the ones that were connected via an adapter like me.
