That's possible. I don't use any asset store stuff in this particular project.

I still don't see why they are in different lists. I guess they are stored on a different server but, as a user, it doesn't make sense that Textmesh Pro is in one list while Amplify Shader is in an other.

What we should have instead is a list of "must have" so our main assets are always installed when starting a project. And vice versa remove what we'll never use like collaborate.

It makes total sense that Assets are separate from Packages list.

What I don't understand is why Publishers cannot publish their Tools as a Packages?
I hate that I need to import Peek into my Assets folder and then put it into Plugins folder.

Remember Project Templates? It would be great if we can make our own.

Its because not all asset store assets are meant to be read only ( packages are )

That's why I said "Tools", they meant to be. And you can very easily edit packages just by moving them from Library to Packages folder -- it will be marked as "In Development".

No it doesn't. Not saying the distinction isn't important but that it's not relevant wen using the search bar.

If I need to install, let's say ProBuilder, I only know the name. It used to be an asset, now it's a package. Some assets could become packages tomorrow and users have no way to know that.

Hmm, it seems more like a search UI problem. Maybe it should show something like this?

I'd love for it to work this way.
