Hi. I uploaded a weapons package that consists of 16 guns to the Unity asset store about 2 months ago. I just got an email now that they denied my package. I was told that in the event of that happening they would at least provide some feedback as to why. In this case, nothing was stated. The email reads: "we don't feel that it is a good fit for the store". For a low poly package my package is good. It is no different than any other weapons package and I don't see why it should be denied. When putting the package together I even went through that pre-screening checklist to make sure the package was in order and contained everything it needed. And if simply being "bad product" is the answer, then that is just false.

That's a link to my website's 3D modeling page. You can see all of the guns there if you scroll down to the "Guns" section(The final texture was made in Unity so it's different but the models are exactly the same).

And if you want to check out a trailer for the game I am working on that has the guns in them check out the link below. You can see that these models are fine and work properly in any game setting:

I want to be able to figure out a legitimate reason so I can fix and re-submit, so any feedback would be great, thank you.

That should be a warning sign. If it‘s not different (unique) and there are already plenty on the store, there is just no need to have more of the same.

As to quality, I hate to break it to you but those weapons aren‘t good quality. Like those silver dual-pistols with silencers that seem way too big … or that rifle with the strange color and scope that doesn‘t look right. Especially in first person they are closer to elongated, shapeless cylinders due to lack of detailing.

Thank you for the response. Yeah a lot of the information I've been reading backs up what you're saying, that if a package is too similar to what's already on there they will deny it. So I guess I just have to figure out what I can add to it and make it unique.

As for the quality though, while I agree that certain things like the length of the silencers on the PPKs or the Scope on the FN-Scar can be improved a bit, I disagree that as a whole they aren't good quality. Considering these are low poly weapons, there's some decent detail in there. Some things you would not have seen yet because I haven't animated them yet, but they all have moveable parts (triggers, chambers, magazines, etc.). Overall these are some solid weapons. And just to note, the tan skin on the FN-Scar is pretty common to see in games. But I guess this last part is subjective, and we all have a preference.

Again I do appreciate the feedback, I definitely want to see my creations on the store at some point. So anything helps.
