After releasing the set builder series on to the asset store one particular asset surprised us with its popularity (Apocalyptic City)
seeing there is big demand for Post Apocalypse pack we realized there is not loads to choose from.

Our next asset series Post Apocalypse Open World will be a 5 part series.
    Trailer Parks Carnival /Rundown Suburbs /Shopping Districts/ Docks/ City.

the reason we release in series is so it is more widely available to indie developers and so you only buy the assets you need.
We will be happy to answer any questions you have about these packs.
(These packages are for both PC and Mobile platforms)

I have two or three questions regarding your work.

1.The Apocalyptic City you released, can i get a link to a thread where i can see all the assets available in the package? Im interested because this may be exactly what i need.

    2. Are all the buildings in your packages going to have the interior designed as well?

    3. If you're going to continue this series of packages i would really like to see a Factory, a Military Airbase and a package with generic items like trashcans, roads, lamp posts and things like that. (Im trying to create a post-apocalyptic island containing the mentioned above, i already modeled the terrain but im not good at all with 3d modeling so you doing this would be really great)
Good luck with all your modeling

-Edit I love how everything looks, gj and keep on doing this.

    1) Apocalyptic City can be found here https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/#/content/8597

Yes all buildings/ trailers / cabins/ houses will have interior in this series. all will contain a selection of interior props

After the first 5 sections are released we will see how well the packages go. if all goes well we will continue to create packs for the series.
as you can imagine allot of work goes into creating these packages

Each package will be priced at around $20-$25 depending on the size of the package.

The housing is modular so the pack contains a basic house and a selection of modular sections
so you are able to customize the house and make it look very different.

Could you include a different texture for the houses like a blue one? So theyre not all red? If you could that would be even better :)

I just bought the Abandoned Carnival. It is sweet. Now I'm anxiously awaiting the next releases.
Just one question. Are the bumpspecmap shaders also the mobile shaders?

Thanks i'm happy that you liked it.

The bumped spec mapped shader should be fine for mobile use as it is the same as
Unitys bumped spec but without the need of the spec being needed to be stored in the alpha channel.
What i will do is write up a Fully Optimized version of the shader for mobile and put it in the first update :)

But the TLCindie glass shader is PC only

I may be able to create a shader with mapped color changing for easy editing.
if not i will create another set of textures :)

It doesn't do well with mobile with all the mesh colliders. Since the objects are each a single mesh, I can't even remove the mesh colliders and add primitives to be useful in a game, but as a backdrop it's good.

What I did was copy the occlusion script from the sci-fi modular pack and it works great.

Maybe add a mobile example scene so noobs like me aren't confused with the DX11 graphics addons in the example scenes (but look fantastic, even without the DX11 scripts).

I'm now ready to buy the next in the series.

That's great news and thanks for letting me know.

Well i have submitted an update to the package with mobile mesh coliders and should be live soon.
If you have use or built off one of the sample scenes remember to un-check that scene when importing the update or you will lose your work

also like i said let me know if there are any assets you would like to see in the apocalyptic carnival just let me know and i will arrange getting another update out :)

Thanks thats always nice to hear.
The next one will have to be the city because of the votes.
but there may be a chance that the city will not have mobile support

we are also working on the next of the Set Builder series with Set Builder New York and can be found on here

we have done it this way to improve performance on mobile platforms as transparent textures are expensive.

this being said we dis-sided to go with blacked out windows that are reflective from the out side.

I just used mobile particles additive culled on the windows to make them see-thru
I set up an entire neighborhood with a rain storm and it only uses 21 draw calls. Very nice job TLC-Indie
