I am working on a Vive Focus project which means that I am required to use Unity 2017.
However, I would like to be able to use my regular HTC Vive in order to test within the editor so that I don't have to perform a build every time.

This is what my XR settings currently look like. OpenVR is nowhere to be found.

I opened up a new project in this same version of Unity and it automatically populated the list with Oculus and OpenVR as soon as I enabled XR settings, so it's unlikely that it's the Unity version itself. Something must have gone haywire when I imported the Vive Focus's Wave SDK. Does anyone know how I can get OpenVR back into Unity so I can use both the WaveSDK and Unity's native XR?

    Thanks!

Nope it is there. Make sure you have downloaded it from Packages.

    Hey there,
I've got the same problem, sometimes OpenVR is showing in the list, sometime not. Did you succeed succeed to find a fix @VR_Unity_Account ?
Using Unity 2019.1.8f1 with OpenVR, Oculus Desktop and Oculus Android packages installed from the package manager.

EDIT : Ok I found the problem(s). For those stumbling in this thread :
    - Check that you correctly installed Steam and SteamVR on your computer
    - Check your Build Target, should be for Standalone

If you are on Oculus then remove OpenVR altogether.

You're probably in the Android-Tab where there is no such a thing as OpenVR. Klick on the Desktop-Tab in the Player settings, then it'll be there.
