Anyone know how to fix Unity from opening Mono Develop when you have Visual Studio configured. It opens Mono Develop most of the time the first time I try to open a script, if I close it, it will open Visual Studio next time and vice versa each taking turns.

Only solution I know of is to open Visual Studio prior to double clicking on a script, but if anyone knows a fix I'd love to hear it.

Mega late I know, but if you go to Edit->Preferences->External Tools, you can set the default program.

It's been fixed for a while now, but it wasn't just setting the external tools, it was already set to visual studio, but mono would open every other time. This was fixed a few months ago with a unity patch.

Could anyone enlighten me, if it makes a whole lot of difference to use Visual Studio instead of Monodevelop for courses I'm following?
Even if I'm copying the exact process of the tutors, I get a load of errors :( I wonder where I am going wrong?
