Opening Asset Store in Unity, just spins spins spins

    I've opened Unity up in vs 5.0.1 and 5.2.2f1. I've tried opening Asset Store tab in both. All I see is "|||Loading" on every window. I've waited 5 minutes and it doesn't load. The buttons on the upper right work, ie the "mail" functionality works fine. The silhouette knows who I'm in and I'm logged in. But the buttons on the left do nothing. Home, whatever that thing is, the button I click to see what I've bought in the past, etc, none work.

    I can access asset store fine from the web.

    I had this same issue all yesterday evening and even this morning as well. It never resolved itself for me. I'll try again this evening, but I've been hunting for someone else having this problem as well when I found this thread. Any clues as to why it finally resolved itself?

    I was trying to open "pun+" from the asset search box results.

    Instead if I just did a ctrl-9 to open the window I could manually navigate to it.

    ctrl-9? I'm not sure what you mean here. I tried pressing ctrl-9 from the asset's page, but nothing happens. I also tried ctrl-f9. Where are you pressing this key combo at?

    I'm also seeing this now on a completely separate computer on a totally separate network and a different login. This is apparently not just a problem for my personal dev machine. I wonder why there aren't more people reporting this or more talk about it. Something strange going on.

    I found another thread and they explained the Ctrl-9 thing more clearly. It's actually a shortcut from inside the Unity editor to open the Asset Store. That works for me as well. Thanks.

    Yup that's what I meant. You can do it by going to "windows -> asset store"

    Still, this has to be a Unity bug somewhere. I hope they fix it.

    Just tested. Searched for "pun+" in "project tab"'s search box. Selected "asset store" top tab in search results. Clicked on "Photon PUN+" result. In "Inspector" side window clicked "Open Asset Store". Same "loading" spins on all windows as stated in original post. So this is a QA worthy bug.

    edit: Windows 8.1 x64
    Unity 5.2.2p4 Free version.
    Branch 5.2/patch-release
