Open project should ask for version and Launch Unity via Installs Tab

    Hi,

    When you click "Open" on the top right, if it's a project that is not already on the list, it should ask which version you want to open with.

    My case, I have 10 versions installed, and my main is 2017.1 because production.
    But I downloaded ShaderGraph, and I want to open it with 2018.1.

    Can't do.

    Also in the Installs Tab, you should be able to Launch the unity version.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately we don't support those features for now.

    For choosing the version to open a project with, the temporary workaround is to select the version as "preferred" before opening your project. However this will be addressed in the near future.

    As for opening the version of Unity from the "Installs" tab, we were asked for this feature before and will definitely consider it.
