    Hello,
I am on a Mac M1 with Ventura OS and every time I open a project I get the warning below. This is a new drive and a new computer and I have 1.94 Tb remaining on the drive containing the project as seen in the second screenshot. I am using Unity 2021.2.13f1 and cannot figure out how to work around this issue. Unity also runs slower on this new machine than my older machines and I suspect maybe this issue is contributing to the performance issues. Thank you for any information.

Don't have an M1 / M2 handy, but MacOSX does produce various RAM temp drives as part of its doing business, at least that's what I _think_ is going on.

Usually these RAM drives have a path such as
    /private/var/vm
and can be viewed with the
    df
    command.

Is it possible one of these is being targeted by Unity as a temporary area? Google might have some useful leads in this regard.

I'm actually on a 2017 iMac 3,8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5. With 24 GB of memory. Unity Editor and Unity Hub are using about 1.5 GB of that and there is 4 GB of RAM free. It looks like the Downloads folder of the Hub is set to a standard "/private/var/folders/w2/xc4hgrvn03x8h32kptxhnkm00000gn" where a bunch of other applications also seem to store some temp-files. The whole folder is only about a 1 GB in size. This directory doesn't look like a RAM drive though.

Same here - Unity Engine 2022.3.25, MacBook Pro 2019, project is hosted on external HDD with nearly 2TB free. Straight away freezes with spinning beach ball of death after giving the Low disk space warning.
