I use URP. I have a character with hair that uses transparent texture. Which one is the best solution? 1 - Having 1 material with Transparent surface type. 2 - Having 2 materials. 1 for hair with transparent surface type, 1 for the rest with opaque surface type. Is there any disadvantage to using transparent surface type for the rest of the body?
Try it? I think you’ll find there are big visual problems with using a transparent material for everything.
