Online multiplayer: where to start?

    I don't want to jump right into online multiplayer because I understand it's too much for novices but what would be a step down? Offline multiplayer? Simple AI? I'm trying to learn unity and c sharp and I figured a billiards game is simple enough for beginners but it sure would be a boring game if all you could do is play alone.

    Billiards is a turn-taking game anyway. Just make it hotseat play.
