On screen stick very laggy

    Hi everyone i am very new to game development was wondering if anyone can help me with this problem i am having thankyou.

    I am using the new input system and trying to get this joystick working properly so i can stick the game on my phone. It sort of works but the joystick is extremely laggy to the point it will take a second plus to start moving is there a way to make it smoother thankyou
