I have a serious issue with learning from the tutorials. To learn something you need the information provided(the videos), a way to do that (unity), and then helpful feedback on your work and help identifying and fixing mistakes (huge part of learning) and that part doesn't exist. Nor does any sort of structure or accountability. If seems like everyone that's made a game successfully thinks they can teach someone else how to do it. Teaching is an entirely different skillset and way too undervalued. I never learned to paint from watching bob ross do it on TV either and im not going to learn coding from someone in a tutorial, really learn it without feedback at least. Identifying mistakes and learning from them is how you learn....I wont even know how to spot the mistakes.

No one will talk to you 1:1 for free. People need to keep their lights on and food on the table.

Unity from time to time offers courses on limited subjects: https://resources.unity.com/games or the indies or film making is useful for game developers too.

If you're looking for paid courses where you have the opportunity to talk to trainers and other students look around on Udemy, for example the GameDev.tv Team has excellent courses and you have the opportunity to talk to the trainers and other students.
Or I also recommend Jason Weimann's courses: https://game.courses/ where you also have guidance.

I did a photography course on Udemy last year and passed, great stuff and not too expensive.

On the contrary it does exist in various forms with the completely free path being creating a thread on the forums when you encounter a problem or have questions. If you want more than that but have a limited budget there are options like Udemy. Finally if you want the full experience there's always the option of hiring a mentor.

I'm not sure what you expected from free tutorials.

Unity uses C#, a very popular language created by Microsoft not Unity. All you really need from Unity is the Unity way of doing things. You can learn the C# language elsewhere and then come back to Unity when you've got the basics down, which would actually be my recommendation.

    What @Joe-Censored said.

Unity tutorials are typically focused more on learning how to navigate/interact with the engine itself, and will briefly brush over C# scripting, as they (not unreasonably) assume you'd know at least an intermediate-level of how to write C# code & the OOP principles.
In the same vein, the tutorials also don't really teach you how to create things like 3D models or background music, because, like programming, those are also entirely their own separate subjects to learn individually.

I love learning with tutorials. A step by step way to get from point A to point B.

Unfortunately, the code provided with the Unity tutorials sometimes doesn't work. That is, you can't even OPEN the project. Even with the right version (2020LTS), right platform, etc.

But no, you're not going to find free feedback.
