    I mentioned that :3

I was stating earlier that of the flood of crap coming from Unity5 and UE4 now that both are free, UE4 will have the better rep because it's harder to learn and the stock assets are such high quality. So there will be fewer games and they will look better.

Compare slaughtering grounds and accidental runner for visuals. Both are just a wharf of assets, but one looks much nicer :p

Plus UE's material editor. It's really good node-based system, you don't have to actually write shader, you just put few nodes, link them together and here you go, no GLSL/HLSL knowledge needed.

    Looks so damn good!

I wonder what AA they are using. The amount of real time lights make me think it really should be using deferred rendering too retain good performance, but that kind of puts you in a situation without any decent AA, and it looks really sharp from what I can see. Maybe it actually is forward rendered, and they try to keep lights down to 3-4, where it's still managable.

Which will play better (be better games instead of better movies)?

Hard to say. I think more work went into the runner game because there are menus, level transitions and actual mechanics. They are at least tutorials while the slaughtering grounds is at best starter kits with no changes. I personally prefer the genre of the slaughtering grounds, but both look pretty awful to play.
