    Can also report that 2019.2.0a9 freezes on my Ubuntu based system while loading/creating a project. Please allow access to older versions.

    When it freezes, try closing the Unity Hub. I get this problem on Solus and this workaround gets me into the editor. The hub relaunches itself when editor opens.
