Oculus support in unity3d 5 free version?

    Will there be Oculus rift support in unity 5 free version?

    My guess is that Oculus rift will need some dll for it to work, and the free version will not have that function.

    Afaik they still use rendertextures, so unless rendertextures are free or they change the sdk, no. Neither of those things are known, but both are very unlikely.

    Any clarity on this? I am running 5.4.2f2 Persoal version. I see options for most everything except Oculous and/or GearVR. I do see Samsung TV but I can't see that being the same....

    Thanks for any direction

    Oculous Rift and/or GearVR are not a export platform but a VR accessory.
    Both are supported in all Unity 5 Licenses.
    Oculous Rift is supported in windows standalone applications (and the editor)
    You have to open the player settings and enable Virtual reality support.
    Make sure that Oculus is the first in the Virtual Reality SDKs list.

    Gear VR is supported on the list of Supported Android Devices.
