Oculus PC 0.5.1 Config Utility not working

    I have been running the Rift HMD for a while now on my MBP a couple of days ago Oculus came out with their new SDK PC 0.5.1 so I uninstalled 4.4 and installed 0.5.1 but the Config Utiltiy would not run so I had to re-install 4.4 . I did this process on other Mac's as well with the same result the Config utility would not run.

    I have the following:

    MBP (2013)
    OSX 10.8.5
    Unity 5 Pro
    Unity 5 Android Pro

    The other Mac's I tried to get Oculus 0.5.0 and 0.5.1 run time to work on were of the same spec.

    Has any one here run into this issue with Their Mac and Oculus 0.5.0 or 0.5.1 runtime not allowing the Config utility to run.

    Is any one using Ocusis Rift with run time 0.5.0.1 on a Apple computer and if so could you kindly let me know what version of OS

    Found the answer, upgrade to Yosemite and 0.5.1 runtime will install.
