Does VR SLI by Nvidia work in Unity, or is that work in progress for 5.x? It uses one graphics card per eye, so I guess that is not going to work out of the box.
From what i heard its more a driver problem than a Unity problem. Nvidia has to change their driver to support one card per eye instead of how they do it not. Its on their roadmap as i understands it though.
Just found out that it is actually a Unity problem. Source: https://developer.nvidia.com/sites/...works/vr/GameWorks_VR_2015_Final_handouts.pdf
True. Would be great if the Unity development team updated us on whether support for VR SLI is coming soon.
Well, it changed to a unity problem now that Nvidia did their part : ) Hope to see this suported soon as well.
Now, the Oculus CV1 is released (okay, not shipped yet), with much higher hardware requirement than DK2. We need every frame we can get from Unity. So VR SLI is a must! Please, any official response on that topic??? (BTW: Unreal announced to support GameworksVR with VR SLI ;-) )
