    Hello,

playing a Unity based game in the newest Unity5 build I noticed the engine does not support the Nvidia Optimus technology.

I have a Lenovo Y50 laptop. That means two graphic cards.
    - Intel HD and Nvidia GTX 860M
The Intel card works fine (and saves energy) in the normal desktop environment. When starting a game the Intel HD is deactivated and the much stronger Nvidia graphic card takes over the job of it.
    So the performance increases.

But in the newest Unity build I can't see this behaviour. The game just runs with the weaker Intel HD.
I always have to force the game to start with Nvidia graphics.
This is really annoying and leads to really bad performance!

    Thanks for your support,
    Regards,
    Marados

I've noticed this as well. 4.5-4.6 defaulted to discrete graphics on Nvidia Optimius enabled laptops. Unity 5 has a regression which causes it to default to integrated graphics.

Any news on a fix for this? It's pretty annoying
