    Hi,

i'm actually discovering Hairworks from NVidia, wich is awesome and pretty simple to setup,
    but,

is there or will be a way to use it with Unty3D 4 or 5 ?

Sounds good to me too and after playing the Witcher 3 yesterday on release date, I am convinced

Here is the video for furry animals & human hair using the system from Nvidia's Youtube channel.

That page only descibes the function of the HBAO+ plugin for unity.
The other parts of the gameworks program do not have a unity plugin(so far).

This is awesome... the only problem is, I use Modo so I can't generate the hair fibers that are needed...

I have a buggy Blender exporter that's for free. Might be useful to you but it's still in early development. Link in my signature. Also, I have a fork of Unity Japan's hairworks integration with a bunch of added features that they haven't gotten too yet and a thread about it. Also all in my signature.

It would be nice to have hairworks or tress fx in unity (i am the only one who can't start tressfx 2.2 demo app? Hairworks viewer is running perfectly on my lenovo y510p) i dont know which one is better but i think it would be a great additon

You need a 3d app to generate the guide fibers.

I think there's a tressfx exporter for maya...I'm not sure. There isn't one for Blender, but if the file it needs isn't too different to HairWorks apx then I'll probably make one for it too :). In terms of which one is better, I think it'll be down to which yields better performance. For me they both look pretty good, but I lean HairWorks because Nvidia are pretty much the leaders of all things physics related in gaming at the moment.

The worse thing with them (Hairworks & TressFX) is that there is only few titles using those technologies and they are hard to compare i think only TR and Witcher can be compare (both of them are 3rd person) and i think TR has a little better performance on my PC, but this game is 2 years older than Witcher so it's hard to compare them, maybe im wrong, but im not a programmer Guru :) and it's only my personal opinion
