NVIDIA FleX for Unity (1.0 BETA) just dissapeared??

    What is going on with NVIDIA flex?

    Powerful tool, which was on the asset store for 2 days then was deprecated? Is Nvidia playing games with Unity users, Also How on earth do you contact their support, they never ever get back.

    NVIDIA VERY DISSAPOINTING.

    I think it was on there for a little longer than 2 days but yeah, what a silly situation, especially after the length of time they teased FleX for Unity before very temporarily releasing it. I've no idea what the story is yet, and this lack of info about what happened is almost as annoying as it being deprecated from the store.

    I think there are two possibilities..

    1) nvidia offered flex to be built in unity engine by unity company.

    2) there are some critical bugs on flex 1.0b, it causes unity editor crash well.

    Flex needs to have softbody cutting, destruction..;;

    Would be nice if they just plopped it on github with some warnings if its the latter.

    Ah, on their general gameworks FleX issues section on github (which you can only access if you have signed up and agreed to terms) they apologised, said they had to take it down while they 'resolve some things internally' and that they aim to re-enable it shortly. I think that message was posted a week ago but I only just read it.

    By the way, does anyone have a link to their(I think) gdc talk where they demoed flex in unity? I cant seem to find it, and ive completely forgotten everything that is supposed to be part of it.

    Unless you're paying Nvidia for the code, I would imagine that any complaints are pretty much null.
