Nvidia 6800 GT and Maya

    Does anyone know if the 6800 GT card available from Apple supports the Cg plugin in Maya 7?

    I'm looking at buying a new card to replace my 9600 in my G5 and trying to decide whether I sould go with the ATI x800 or the Nvidia 6800GT.

    Any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.

    Obviously I know Unity will run fantastic on either... ;-)

    Apple's ATI drivers seem a lot less buggy than the nVidia ones, from my experience and hearing from more experienced OpenGL people. That said, the 6800 has more features, but not all of them are usable in Mac OS X yet.
