Not sure how to get package working

I downloaded a platformer movement package. I dunno why but I expected a demo to be included which would make figuring things out 10x easier for me.

Everything seems to have imported properly into Unity editor but I have no clue how to proceed forward.



I think I'm doing something wrong cuz I downloaded a full 2D game template and when I loaded it in it was the exact same empty game screen.

 

You'll want to open the demo scenes included in the project. And if you visit their website, they have a YouTube video. The author also posted their email address on the asset page for support.
