Bug "Normal" update mode on Animator no longer affected by TimeScale

    Where before any animator with a Normal update mode would slow down to reflect the game speed, it no longer does so and will always play at a speed of 1. Changing to "Animate Physics" seems to work with scaled time as expected.

    Hi, the issue appears as resolved but it isn't. It says it's a duplicate but the issue it directs to is a different one.
    I still couldn't fix it and the solution of changing the update mode to Animate Physics doesn't work for me because the child objects don't follow the model correctly.
    What are my options?

    Hi @freakrho,
    The case was marked as a duplicate because the fix we have fixes both issues. It landed in 2021.1.0b8 so isn't available just yet.
