Normal Maps for Tile Map Sprites

    Hi there,

    I'm not that experienced with Unity, esp. on the art/graphics side of things.
    In our 2D game, I would like my tile maps to use sprites with normal maps for a bit more dynamic visuals. Now I can create the normal maps and the material for each sprite, but I don't see a way to have my sprites actually use the material in the tile palette. So far I've only figured out that single sprite prefabs (eg. for props) have the Sprite Renderer component, which has an actual material property. How can I do that for tile maps?
