noob question about credit

Hi! I'm also complete my first game and I'm starting to make a credit section in my game. For indie game, normally where does everyone put the credits in indie game? Just same as other companies only show credit after player beat the whole game?

 

We don't have credits

 

I've seen it on game end, or a button available in somewhere like an options menu to display them.

 

I personally would put them in a separate screen/scene, and access them using a button somewhere on the main menu. It could be on the same list of buttons with the rest of the main menu, or you could kind of hide it in a corner, but I'm all for giving the credit where its due so I wouldn't put it somewhere harder to find like in the options menu or something.
