Noob Fog Question

    I'm struggling to understand how to get the effect I'm looking for with HDRP's volumetric fog. I'm using a Gradient Sky component with the Fog and I'd like for objects to transition from having their appearance not effected by fog at a close distance (let's say 5 units away) to blending entirely with the gradient sky color at a far distance (30 units away).

    Is this possible with the volumetric fog? Is it possible without volumetric fog? Which parameters do I need to be concerned with? I was playing around with Fog Attenuation Distance and I noticed that as I get to very low values, the sky seems to turn a deep blue, which is weird because my Gradient Sky is very much not blue.

    If anyone can give me any pointers towards getting the effect I'm looking for, it would be much appreciated! Thank you :)
