Non-AR scene in vuforia? (Unity)

Hello I'm using vuforia 6.5 and am a little confused when I have a new scene it automatically changes any camera in there to be an AR camera however I have some non-AR scenes how can I disable this behaviour whilst still having different scenes being able to be AR. I've tried changing the cameras names and having them not tagged as maincamera.
