No sound in my games when I have music set

In my Karting Mod tutorial game it has music in Unity but when I record it, even if my volume on my computer is on, There is only silence. Can I fix this or no? I am trying to put it in my online portfolio on wix

 

Can you be clear if you're talking about no sound coming out of your speakers, or no sound saved in your recording?

It sounds like just some mixer settings you're screwing up though.

 

Have you played your movie back? You should find that it has recorded the sound.

 

There is sound when I am just running a test on my game but when it comes to playing back the recording I don't get any music.

 

I didn't touch anything. I did everything the tutorial said to do. I attached a video of what it sounds like if I record it(you hear absolutely nothing). When it is just me testing it however with no recording, I have all my music. I can't show you the one with music because I can't get the sound to go to my game recording

 

What did you use to make your recording? I was thinking that you had used the Unity Recorder because, although the audio is being captured, no audio is heard whilst recording.

 

I am using the screen record option that comes with Macboooks(Command+Shift+5. I had no Idea unity had a built in screen recorder)

 

Open your Karting Game Project

Unity Main Menu -> Window -> Package Manager -> Advanced tab -> Show preview packages -> Unity Recorder -> Install

Unity Main Menu -> Window -> General -> Recorder -> Recorder Window

 

How do I start the recording with Audi? Every time I try and press "Record" and it plays the game with no sound and when I go to look if it is recording it says"start recording"
