No Flash Export in Unity 4.x

I did a couple of games using the publish to Flash option in Unity 3.5. There is no option to export to Flash in my Unity Pro 4.3.1f. I know that development has stopped but I have a client that wants the app to be playable in the Flash Player, since there are so many Flash Player installs around. Is there no way that I can get the Flash exporter for my version of Unity?

The Blog entry says that at least during the 4.x cycle there will still be support if you are an existing customer. I never used the Flash exporter so I can't be of any more help. You should probably contact Unity support directly.

 

Did you by any chance use the preview of the Flash exporter (that is, the one that was free). When 4.0 was released the Flash exporter went "final" and you had to pay for it. Since then, Unity has stopped working and (after 4.x supporting) the exporter so unless you already have a license for it, you cannot use Unity to target Flash. It is not possible to buy a license either so you either have it or you don't.

 

I used the free beta the paid for one was not available.
So there is no option to buy the licensed one. That's annoying.
