No Data when enabling "Disable HW Statistics" option

    Hello everyone,

    For past 3 days I was not getting any data on analytics console.
    Find out that "Disable HW Statistics" was enabled.

    When I disabled aforementioned selection, fresh data arrived on console. :)

    Tested on windows editor and android nexus 5.
    Unity version: 5.1.1.f1

    Interesting.... be good to get official confirmation from Unity whether this is the intended behaviour....?

    Hi @fullspeed07 and @antifuzz - This is correct. In 5.1 hardware statistics must be enabled for Analytics to work.

    To enable hardware stats: Choose Edit > Project Settings > Player, which opens the Player Settings window.




    Ensure the checkbox is unselected to enable HW Statistics and Analytics functionality.

    Hi @boby bobs - To clarify, Unity Analytics is available to Personal and Pro users and is currently free. :D The above mentioned instructions apply to Pro users only. There is an additional step that must occur for Pro users to enable Analytics in 5.1.

    Hi, Is disabling hw statistics also possible in Unity Plus version or only in Unity Pro?

    @firegor that's correct, hw stats can be disabled in Unity Plus
