    I can understand making money off of a product. People have put their time and effort into developing Unity and they want a return on their investment. However, dark themes aren't just about preference. They are about the health of people's eyes. By not including a dark theme with the free edition Unity is unnecessarily degrading the health of young, poor, and less serious community members.

    I use the light theme and have no problem with eye health. Turn the lights on in your room and/or turn the brightness down on your monitor.

    With that being said...dark theme should absolutely be included in the free version. It's such an odd feature to lock behind a paywall.

    No. Not paying Unity and complaining is definitely mean though.
