no assets?

Just started trying to use unity and i'm already stuck D:
doing the FPS microgame and it made me go to the asset store and add the food pack asset then click open in unity and it opens the package manager and says I have no assets, it also says "error refreshing assets, see console." at the bottom so i'm not sure what i'm supposed to do

 

Official tutorials on here = epic fail! Most of them are at least 3 years out of date for a start.

 

RichAllen2023 Isn't that the truth! I am new and trying to do the tutorials and the instruction tell you to click on "xxx" and when you look for "xxx" all you can find is "bbb". It is frustrating. And just like the OP I now have no assets and an error msg. It was working last night before I started the stupid tutorials... and now nothing bet errors.
