No ads without being on Play Store

    Do ads not show on Android unless the app is in the play store? I added an app (not on the play store) and couldn't get ads to work on my Android phone (Advertisements.isReady() was always false) so I added one of my apps that is on the app store to Unity ads and used the generated app ID and it worked fine. Is there somewhere in the documentation where I can reference this behavior?

    I had ads shown before adding my game to the playstore. Currently I have an app entry in the developer console, but no apk uploaded, and I get ads.
