    Hello all,

Just started Unity and loving it.

I've been going through the Nightmares tutorials (Player Setup video) and found that the PlayerMovement.cs is having issues. The player does not follow the direction of mouse. I went through the code 4 times and saw that all is well...it didn't work...then went and did a copy and paste of the code...still the same outcome.

One thing I did notice one Unity 5 beta compared to 4.6 (which was used in the demo), was on the Animator view, there is a green "Entry" block. In the tutorial it does not have this. On U 5 beta, "Entry" cannot be deleted (at least I have not found a way or if it can), so it enters into Idle mode and will not detect any keystroke to take it out of Idle mode. The character moves around the screen in Idle mode, but will not switch until it has fully run through the complete Idle sequence.

Any help on this would be great.

    Thanks

That game uses raycasting if I remember correctly to have the character follow the mouse like that and you need different things tagged just right for it all to work properly.
Go through the videos again I bet you missed something like I did the first time o_O.
