NGUI Textbox input no longer works in the editor in 5.2.0f1

    I'm on a Mac and after installing Unity 5.2.0f1, keyboard input no longer works on an NGUI textbox.

    This never occurred on 5.1.2, and the NGUI vendor has claimed this is a Unity regression.

    I have logged a case for this, case number 724432

    Can you verify if it's still a problem if you start fresh?
    This happens after getting a dialog saying “Moving File Failed”. To work around this issue, close and open the editor.
    The fix should be heading to patch 1.

    It was reproduced in an ongoing project after upgrading, and reproduced in a brand new repro project in 5.2.0f1, I'm not the only one who had this issue, others on NGUI forums posted as well.
