Assets [Next-Gen-PBR] RPG Weapons for mobile and desktop

    Hello everyone.

    In the last few years i have modeled a lot of hardsurface stuff and some medieval/fantasy weapons as well and I was thinking why not doing some cool weapons for unity asset store.

    So here is what I have in mind:

    First pack: Medieval pack with real weapons and a little bit of fantasy but still to look from real world!

    This pack will contain:
    Maces - Axes - Claymore - Greatswords - Halbards - Bows - Crossbows and a few other category.

    Each weapon will have 3 tier/progression.

    For example: WPN_Mace_1 will have Tier 1/2/3 with visible geometry upgrades and texture variations and so on for the other weapons.

    After finishing the medieval pack I want to start 2 other packs. Fantasy pack and a Sci Fi pack

    Here is a WIP on the high poly for the first mace weapon so you can make an idea what I will be doing for all the weapons.



    I will be using this thread to show all the wips and final results. More to come soon!

    Great!

    You mind adding a broadsword, a dagger, a short sword, a shield and a staff to your pack?

    Definitely could use more high quality weapon options!

    Nice looking weapons mass. Look forward to seeing other content you create.

    Consider providing wireframe images of the low poly weapons. From your art station link it appears the low poly weapon images may be closer to mid-high poly, not mobile friendly. Or alternately explicitly describe "low poly" weapons strictly for PC, non-mobile games.
    Either way - solid content!

    Thanks guys, I`m glad you like it.

    @hallsofcamelot sure man, I already have some of them noted, also shields.

    @theANMATOR2b for sure i will post wireframes! Regarding the low poly for mobile. I have 6 years working in the mobile gaming industry so I know how much poly/tris to add in weapons, to be optimal for pc and mobile.

    Also these weapons will have 1 or 2 lods for each tier. LOD0 - LOD1 and maybe LOD2 will see.

    Ok so here are the high poly for the 1st mace and low poly with wireframe.

    Tier 1 - 1.464 poly / 2.890 tris
    Tier 2 - 1.528 poly / 3.018 tris
    Tier 3 - 1.788 poly / 3.518 tris

    Next bake + textures.

    Hi! So here are the first 3 tiers textured for the 1st Mace. I`ll start another one as soon as possible. What do you guys think?

    Very subtle detail - the spikes have a slightly higher spec/reflect value than the rest of the mace. Looks awesome!

    Here are the high poly tiers for the 2nd Mace, going to add them in zbrush for detailing pass.

    Hello guys, just come back after a long break.
    Just finished the textures for the 2nd Mace tier 1-2 and 3. Hope you like them. Tomorrow starting another set.

    Regarding the helmets, I dont know yet but will see in the future. Thanks again!

    theres plenty of weapon packs on the store but no really good armor sets(like helmets), i think theres a bigger market for that ;)
