Nexgen American Cars [Wip]

Cool, I'll check it out when that's done, but I was reading this thread and someone brought up licensing by Ford. I am no lawyer, so since you are selling these on the asset store, I wanted to ask how do you know your 3d models are completely legal to use in a commercial game? From what I Googled it seems like it is illegal to use even if you take out the logo. Do you have some kind of legal source I can see? Just trying to be safe.

I've been working in videogames 7 years and I know how this things works so don't worry.

I changed the logos, yes but the shapes are similar but not equals, as you can see my models are less rounded, have other interior and have different details than the Ford you mentioned.

Anyway, the Unity Asset Store reviews every single detail of the product, from the banners to the content and they had a pretty good look at it, that's why they decided to place them on the frontpage.

Is it possible to animate the wheels? I am trying to make a police chase scene, hence different numbers for police cars.

 

They are animated, forward, backwards, turns and the breaking.

Is there LOD with this set? I see it in the project list above, but I'm not seeing it in the asset store list. (Also no Sheriff.)

Regarding the LOD model(s) ... could a model designed for lower LOD also be suitable for mobile use?

 

Sorry for the delay I moved to a new place and it's been crazy to get Internet...

The LOD it's a possibility, if I can get the time to do it I will and the sheriff skin will depend on sales.
